Becoming an egg donor involves comprehensive medical examinations that assess both your overall health and your reproductive health. • hormonal tests (including AMH, FSH, LH, and estradiol), • genetic testing (e.g. karyotype analysis), • screening for infectious diseases, • pelvic ultrasound, • gynecological consultation. All examinations are part of the qualification process for the program and help ensure the donor's safety at every stage of participation.
You Receive Free Medical Tests Worth Several Thousand PLN
The entire package of medical tests included in the program is fully funded by the clinic. As a donor, you do not incur any costs. Privately, the same set of tests would typically cost between PLN 3,000 and PLN 5,000. All examinations are an integral part of the donation process, so there is no need to arrange them yourself.
You Receive Financial Compensation of up to PLN 10,000
Participation in the program includes financial compensation for the time and commitment involved in attending appointments and preparing for egg donation. Compensation may amount to up to PLN 10,000 (for two completed egg donation cycles).
Your Anonymity Is Fully Protected
In Poland, egg donation is completely anonymous. The donor's personal information is not disclosed to the recipient. The entire process is carried out with strict confidentiality and full respect for the donor's privacy.

Who Can Become an Egg Donor?
An egg donor is a woman who:
- is between 20 and 32 years old,
- is in good health,
- takes care of her physical and mental well-being,
- has a healthy body weight (BMI 18–25),
- is sexually active,
- does not have any addictions,
- has no family history of genetic disorders,
- is not breastfeeding.

How Does the Egg Donation Process Work Step by Step?
The egg donation process is carried out in stages at Klinika Bocian. Each step is designed to provide donors with professional medical care and support throughout the entire program.

Application Form
After submitting the application form, the candidate receives a qualification questionnaire to determine whether she meets the requirements to become an egg donor.

First Visit to the Clinic Bocian
If the candidate passes the initial qualification, she is invited to Klinika Bocian for her first visit. This includes a medical consultation, a gynecological examination, an ultrasound scan, and blood test referrals.

Hormonal Stimulation
If the test results are satisfactory, the second visit takes place on day 2–3 of the menstrual cycle. During this appointment, the doctor selects an individualized hormonal stimulation protocol.

Follow-up Visits
During hormonal stimulation, 2–3 follow-up appointments are scheduled so the doctor can monitor the development of the ovarian follicles.

Egg Retrieval
Once the stimulation phase is complete, the eggs are collected during a short procedure performed under general anesthesia. The date of the egg retrieval is determined based on the development of the ovarian follicles.

Yes. Both women who do not yet have children and mothers can participate in the Egg Donation Program. The main eligibility criteria are good health and the absence of medical contraindications, which are assessed during the qualification process.
Yes. Donating eggs does not reduce your chances of having children in the future. During a woman's reproductive years, only a portion of her eggs mature, while the remaining eggs naturally degenerate. The program also includes medical examinations that assess the donor's overall health and fertility.
Yes. Having healthy children does not exclude you from participating in the Egg Donation Program. However, you can join the program no sooner than one year after giving birth and after you have finished breastfeeding. Final eligibility is determined following medical qualification.
No. Egg donation in Poland is completely anonymous. The donor's personal information is not shared with either the recipient or the child born through egg donation. However, the donor may choose to provide certain non-identifying information in the questionnaire, such as musical or artistic talents, educational background, or other personal characteristics.
No. Anonymity applies to both the donor and the recipient. This means that the donor cannot obtain information about which individual or couple received her donated eggs or when they were used.
The egg retrieval procedure is performed under short general anesthesia with an anesthesiologist present, so the procedure itself is not painful. It usually takes 20–30 minutes, and after a short recovery period, the donor can return home the same day.
Yes. Yes. If your ovarian health allows, you may participate in the Egg Donation Program again. Each donation cycle is preceded by a new medical qualification to confirm that your health allows you to undergo the procedure safely.
Yes. Hormonal stimulation is necessary to obtain a larger number of eggs. At the beginning of the cycle, just before stimulation starts, the gynecologist individually selects the type and dose of medication that should be taken regularly. During stimulation, the donor remains under constant medical care.
Yes. The use of hormonal contraception in the form of tablets does not exclude participation in the Egg Donation Program. Information about taking it should be provided in the questionnaire and during the medical visit so that the further stages of the program can be properly planned.
Yes. Participation in the Egg Donation Program is entirely voluntary. The donor may withdraw from further participation at any stage of qualification. It is important that the decision to join the program is informed and made with full conviction.

The number of possible donations is assessed individually. Rejoining the egg donation program is possible only after renewed medical qualification, which makes it possible to assess health status and the ability to safely go through another procedure.
Participation in the Egg Donation Program does not exclude the possibility of becoming pregnant in the future. Women who do not have health contraindications are qualified for the program. Each decision about participation is preceded by an assessment of the donor's health and fertility.
Adult women within a specified age range and in good health may join the Egg Donation Program. A regular menstrual cycle and the absence of medical contraindications are required. Participation is preceded by qualification that includes a medical visit and tests.
